RECENT INCIDENTS REPORTED:
5/2 & 5/3/09 report of a suspicious man walking the neighborhood. Concerned citizens approached the man and found out he was with the Census. He had permission from Rina to be on the property.
4/2009 report of a suspicious vehicle circling the neighborhood. The man got out of his vehicle and walked around the pumping station. He then got back into his vehicle and sat at the entrance to RPT. The police were called and he was a private investigator working for Hudson PD and he found good internet service in our neighborhood so he was utilizing it while he could. The police told him to move out of the area to which he did immediately.
* 2/11/09 report of a vehicle making unnecessary loud noises during late hours of the night.
* 2/11/09 report of gray unleashed dog roaming neighborhood and eliminating in undesignated areas.
(Leash law states that a dog must be on a leash from 7AM until 7PM)
* 2/11/09 report of children playing with lock on elderly shed.
* 2/3/09 IR An RPT senior reported she placed a package to be returned to sender on 12/23/08 at the mailboxes for pick up by the postman and it was taken by someone else. She reported it to the post office and was billed by company for the merchandise not being returned.
* 1/30/09 IR Vehicle sitting outside unit 10. Police were notified about a suspicious vehicle.
UPDATE: Mental Health Worker was 45 minutes early for an appointment and was doing
paperwork.
* 1/29/09 report of a suspicious vehicle parked outside family unit 11. This vehicle was reported to the police department. The occupant was a half hour early for an apointment and was doing paperwork before hand. It is still unknown as to why the man did not park in that unit's driveway.
* 1/28/09 reports of screws in tires by the elderly building. This effected 4 vehicles parked in different areas in the lot.
* 1/14/09 a license plate was reported missing from a vehicle at the Elderly building. This incident was reported at the meeting and the issue was resolved shortly after. The plate was found in a snowbank by the family units and was returned to it's owner! Excellent communication ! This just goes to show that the Neighborhood watch is working! Thank you so much to the person who turned in that plate!
* 1/14/09 A report has been made of medical waste being found in the road. Several syringes were found in front of the family units and were disposed of immediately. If you find any hazardous waste, please contact the Tyngsboro Housing Authority (978) 649-9941 or your block captain John Pelletier (978)649-6953 or the police department (978) 649-7504 immediately and do not touch anything! This is a very serious matter and cannot wait for a written report, please make the call and if you would like, you can remain anonymous.
* 1/14/09 A report of suspicious vehicles has been reported around Family Units 1-5 between 2AM and 4AM. One of these vehicles is a small black car. An exchange was made between these vehicles and then quick departure. Please spread the word if you are up at this hour take a look outside. If you see anything suspicious, please try and get a license plate number and description of the vehicle and report it to the police department (978) 649-7504 immediately. Also alert the block captain as soon as possible. (you can call your block captain at any time)
